This Privacy Policy explains how HimanshJosh (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our website, test-series, study materials, mobile experiences, and related services (the “Services”). We comply with applicable Indian laws including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the SPDI Rules, 2011 under the IT Act, 2000.
1) Scope & Consent
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2) Information We Collect
Account & Profile: name, email, mobile number, password (hashed), avatar, preferences, communication choices.
Learning & Test Data: enrolled series, test attempts, answers, scores, accuracy, speed, AIR (All-India Rank), weak/strong topics, bookmarks, notes, support tickets.
Payments: masked card details, UPI/transaction IDs, order IDs, billing info via payment partners (e.g., Razorpay). We do not store full card/UPI credentials on our servers.
Device & Usage: IP address, browser, device type, OS, language, referral URLs, pages viewed, session duration, crash logs, cookies and similar technologies.
User Content: messages/emails you send us, reviews, feedback, uploaded documents (where applicable).
3) How We Use Your Information
Provide, operate, and improve the Services, including personalised mock recommendations, analytics, and progress reports.
Process orders and payments; prevent fraud; provide invoices and support.
Communicate important updates, password resets, service changes, offers (opt out of non-essential marketing anytime).
Enforce Terms, comply with law, protect users’ safety and exam integrity.
4) Legal Bases (DPDP/IT Act)
We process personal data based on: (a) your consent; (b) performance of a contract (purchased test-series/materials); (c) legitimate interests (security, analytics); and (d) legal obligations.
5) Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use cookies/beacons to remember preferences, keep you signed in, measure traffic, and improve performance. You can control cookies via your browser settings; blocking some cookies may impact features.
6) Payments & Third Parties
Payments are processed by trusted providers (e.g., Razorpay). We may also use analytics/media services such as Google Analytics and YouTube embeds. These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We share only what’s necessary to complete the transaction or feature.
7) When We Share Data
Service Providers: hosting, analytics, payment processing, email/SMS, customer support (contractually bound to confidentiality).
Compliance & Safety: to regulators, law enforcement, or to enforce our rights, detect fraud/abuse, or protect users.
Business Transfers: during mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring (your data remains protected).
8) Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal/financial obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We anonymise or securely delete data when no longer required.

Subject to law, you may request: (i) access; (ii) correction; (iii) deletion; (iv) grievance redressal; and (v) consent withdrawal (for consent-based processing). 10) Children’s Privacy
Our Services are intended for learners aged 13+. If you are a parent/guardian and believe your child has provided personal data without consent, please contact us to delete such data.
11) Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring) to protect data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
12) International Transfers
Our infrastructure or providers may be located outside India. Where applicable, we ensure appropriate safeguards to protect your data across borders.
